Washington House Inn B&B
Built in 1899, by descendants of President Washington's brothers John Augustine and Samuel. The Inn is graced with antique furnishings, carved oak mantles, telephones, data ports, DSL, cable televisions, and spacious guest rooms, each with air conditioning, ceiling fans and private bath with thirsty terry robes. Relax with friends in the parlor with refreshments, enjoy the serenity of the gazebo or unwind on the large, inviting wraparound veranda, complete with swing and rocking chairs.

Upon awakening, help yourself to fresh brewed coffee or a gourmet selection of teas. Continue your morning with a full breakfast of fresh baked goods, choice of juices, traditional and specialty dishes and plenty of hot coffee served in the elegant dining room.

Take a leisurely stroll to the charming Colonial Main Street. Hike the mountain trails of the Blue Ridge or bike along the restored C&O towpath. Drive to nearby historical sites, and find that perfect antique on the way back to the inn.
