For your complete privacy and enjoyment our four largest rooms have separate private outside entrances. All our rooms have private ensuite bathrooms.

Each room is furnished with antiques and reproductions. Our comfortable beds with soft sateen sheets are complete with down comforters to snuggle in.

Our Generals Quarters is a romantic cottage blending an 1830's Summer Kitchen with modern construction built in the style of early America. Featuring cathedral ceilings, a pencil post queen bed and a full size fold out air dream bed. It includes a large tiled bath with tub and shower, and private porch overlooking the gardens. Cable, DVD, VCR, mini-fridge. Room rate is $150 single, $175 double, there is a $25.00 charge for each extra guest. Maximum occupancy is four.

Our main building with four guest rooms dates from 1804.

The spacious Thomas Jackson Room, on the ground floor has a queen size cannon ball bed, a private bath, TV, VCR, private porch and separate entrance. This room was formerly the Rohrback family ballroom. Room rate is $124 single, $149 double.

The Harpers Ferry Suite, features it's own private bath, private porch and separate entrance. A sitting area has a fold-out bed with another double and twin bed in the bedroom portion. Room rate is $110 single, $135 double, maximum occupancy is four.

The Antietam Room, the largest room in the main building, features a queen sized poster bed, a private bath with a tub and shower, private entrance, a large porch, TV and VCR. This room can be adjoined with the Clara Barton Room for a larger group. Room rate is $134 single, $159 double.

The cozy Clara Barton Room, is furnished with an antique full size double bed and a dresser which were handmade by Joanne's grandfather. The Clara Barton room's private bath features an old fashioned clawfoot tub and a sunflower shower. Room rate is $100 single, $125 double.

All rates include Joanne's bountiful multi-course gourmet breakfast, home baked cookies, and complimentary beverages including our fresh roasted organic coffee. Our full breakfast is served in our dining room each morning at 8:30, continental breakfast is available for guests wishing to eat at another time.

We will make every effort to accommodate special dietary needs if you let us know when making your reservation. Vegetarian and vegan specialties available.

Early coffee service is available starting at 7 a.m. Enjoy your coffee and the morning Washington Post in our parlor.

All of our rooms are comfortably air-conditioned.

Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the Inn.

We have a 2 night minimum stay for most holiday weekends and special events.

Reservations may be guaranteed by MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or check.

Because we are a small bed and breakfast, cancellations greatly affect us. When you reserve a room, we agree to turn away all other requests for that room and you agree to pay the rate quoted for the number of days you reserve it.

Please note that in the event that your plans change, cancellation must be received 5 days in advance of your scheduled day of arrival or you will be charged for one night's stay if we cannot rebook the room. If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours in advance, or do not arrive for your reservation as scheduled, you are subject to charge for the entire stay booked. Cancellations MUST be made by telephone conversation with the Innkeepers, answering machine messages and email are not acceptable. A service charge of $25 per room will be made for all cancellations.

Check-in is anytime after 3:00 p.m., we can accommodate late arrivals, but please let us know if arriving after 9. Check-out by 11:00 a.m.

We do not allow pets or smoking in the Inn. Smoke outdoors only.

We welcome well mannered supervised children 10 and older.
